Saying good bye turned out to be a lot harder than I expected.
As I chilled with my closest friends on my last night, I found words hard to come by.
Despite my growing unease, I still refused to speak my mind.
For fear of coming off as needy, desperate or just plain homosexual.
And so, we left it at that.
A handshake, a man hug, and that was it.
5 minutes later in the apartment lift, I struggled to fight back the tears.
All the flashbacks began in quick succession.
Almost as if my life in Sydney was over in a blink of an eye.
Thanks for the memories Salokin and Makoto.
Here's hoping there will be a reunion sometime.
