The vitriol directed towards Singapore's migrants and minorities never ceases to amaze me.
Views of friends and family sometimes border on arrogance and ignorance.
Opinions that should never see the light of day.
Years ago I would have understood the animosity.
But having lived as a second-rate citizen,
I now empathize with these perceived "lesser" parties.
It's easy to smile along with negative comments being made.
But I find myself getting increasingly annoyed on a daily basis.
There is too much hate in this world.
And too little understanding.
