Almost seems like a million years since 

I recall being genuinely happy.

This season has been truly abysmal and painful.

So painful at times that I've become numb to 

the constant sting of lacklustre performances.

Hopefully they won't be languishing in Championship 

by the time I get to Anfield in 2011.

Here's to a better year ahead.
